Intercollegiate Engineering Conference 11/5/16 – 11/6/16

This was a two day event that was hosted here by ESC at Bechtel here on campus that brought in other engineers to gather and get to know each other! They had sponsors such as Intel, Autodesk and Northrop Grumman attend and speak to the students as well as visitors from other schools such as Stanford and UC Merced. We gave an almost improved presentation in front of the group that introduced us as a club and help everyone else get to know what we stand for.

On the second day, we had Jessica and Chris come back and participate in an engineering competition in which they built a ‘golf machine’ from some simple office supplies. Although they didn’t win, they came in a very close and frustrating second place!
